LOVE LOCAL NASHVILLE

Nashville's Much Needed All Ages DIY Space

A group here in Nashville has started a crowdfunding effort to open an all ages venue, something that's very hard to find here. You would think more venues would be open to the idea, but most of them are bars and the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission has been very quick to impose penalties for underage drinking. So we're left with a shortage of meaningful, safe places for kids to get together and share music with each other.

They've found a location that's willing to rent to them. Now they just need some help getting started. All of the funds raised will go towards fixing up the venue, getting it soundproofed, and getting a PA.

Fortunately, the group looks like it will meet its goal, but they can use all the help they can get. If you want to support the local music scene this is a way to do it directly, so please consider making a contribution.
