Nashville Game Developers

Nashville Game Developers meets regularly to discuss and promote game development in the Nashville area. Members include professional developers and amateurs alike, and anyone with an interest in how games are made is welcome to attend the monthly meetings and smaller informal meetups. NGD ran an excellent game jam back in January, and they're planning another one for this summer. (Yours truly contributed ideas and music to the Hot Chicken! game.) Game jams are an awesome way to jump into game design, as you and your team are given 48 hours to make a game from scratch. Don't worry if you're not a programmer or an artist. Everyone can contribute ideas. We'll post more information about the summer jam soon!
