sara jean kelley, an-honest-to-goodness nashville native and daughter of hit singer/songwriter Irene kelley has music in her blood, which is especially fitting because of her newest release 'monster,' is a mystical story of empowerment and comfort with an unapologetically feminist message in a time when we need that more than ever. with a deep connection to the planet (she even studied environmental biology in colorado). kelley offers the familiarity of country and bluegrass while incorporating a modern americana sound, such that 'monster' is bound to have genre crossing success. check out sara jean kelley's video for 'monster' below.
